Subscribe/Unsubscribe from a Mailman list

Here are some instructions on managing your own subscriptions to UNBC Mailman lists. These are lists that are delivered from addresses like <list_name>@lists.unbc.ca.

To Subscribe 

1. Visit https://lists.unbc.ca/
2. Find the list you want to subscribe to (eg "Announce") and click on the name 
3. There is a "Subscribe to this list" form you can fill out, and then click the Subscribe button.
   • Alternately, there should be an email address listed, which you can send an email to with the Subject line of 'subscribe'
4. Depending on the individual list settings, you may be subscribed automatically, or your subscription may need to be approved by the List Owner(s).
   • Requests are usually approved within 2-5 business days

To Unsubscribe

1. Visit https://lists.unbc.ca/
2. Sign In (via link in upper right)
3. Find the list you want to unsubscribe from, and click on the name.
4. If you are signed in to the site, and subscribed under your account, you should see a "Subscription / Unsubscription" section. Select the Unsubscribe button to unsubscribe.
5. Alternately, there is a list owner email address displayed. You can email that address, and request to be unsubscribed.
