Opening PDF Documents in SharePoint/OneDrive - Foxit Sign in Issue

Due to unforeseen changes, there may be behavioural changes in opening/editing PDF documents in SharePoint/OneDrive

When you open a PDF in SharePoint/OneDrive, you may get a pop-up "Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in, Application Foxit Cloud for SharePoint and OneDrive is disabled". Please follow the workarounds given below to tackle this issue -

 Method 1 - 

  1. Select the three horizontal dots to the right of the file 
  2. Select 'Open in app'
  3. The document will open in Foxit PDF desktop application
  4. Make the necessary edits
  5. Click on the 'Save' or 'Save as' button to save the document to a location of your choosing

Method 2 - 

  1. Select the three horizontal dots to the right of the file
  2. Select 'Open in browser'
  3. Make the necessary edits
  4. Right click on the document and select 'Save' or 'Save as', and follow through to save the file in a decide location
  5. Upload the edited PDF document to SharePoint/OneDrive 

FYI - If you don't have access to Foxit PDF Editor, please use Foxit PDF Reader to open the file.
