I keep on getting prompted to login and it just doesn't work, what should I do?

To ensure that your device is registered and working, please follow these steps

  1. Open a private browser in your preferred browser
  2. Sign in to portal.microsoft.com

Note: If this works successfully, you'll need to empty your browser's cache. If you do not know how to open a private browser or clear your browser's cache please follow the instructions below for the browser that you use.


Opening a Private Browser

Microsoft Edge

  • In the Microsoft Edge browser click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and select New Incognito Window from the list
  • Shortcut - In the Microsoft Edge browser you have open, press Ctrl-Shift-N

Google Chrome

  • In the Google Chrome browser click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and select New Incognito Window from the list.
  • Shortcut - In the Google Chrome browser you have open, press Ctrl-Shift-N 

Mozilla Firefox

  • In the Mozilla Firefox browser click on the three vertical lines in the upper right corner and select New Incognito Window from the list.
  • Shortcut - In the Microsoft Edge browser you have open, press Ctrl-Shift-N 

Empty your Browser's Cache

Microsoft Edge Browser

  1. Open Microsoft Edge, select Menu (3 horizontal dots  icon on top right corner of the browser) > Settings > Privacy, Search & Services.
  2. Under Clear browsing data, choose what to clear.
  3. Select "Cached images and files" then select clear.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome, select Menu (3 vertical dots icon on top right corner of the browser) > More Tools > Clear 
  2. Under Clear browsing data, choose what to clear. 
  3. Select "Cached images and files" then select clear.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox, select Menu (3 horizontal lines icon on top right corner of the browser) > Settings > Privacy & Security
  2. Under Cookies and Site Data, select clear data.
  3. Select "Cached Web Content" then select clear.
