Access your OneDrive

Summary

Introduction to OneDrive (vs H drive), how to access, link to learning resource

Body

The preferred location to store your personal UNBC-related documents and files is your OneDrive. Your personal H drive should be reserved for storing files that need to be accessed from systems/applications that cannot use OneDrive, such as a Linux remote shell.

Each UNBC employee and student has access to a 1TB Microsoft OneDrive, available via your UNBC account credentials in Microsoft 365. If you have a Microsoft 365 A1 license, you have 100GB of storage. Your OneDrive is accessible from any internet-connected device. Unlike your H drive, you are not limited to accessing it via on-campus workstation, virtual UNBC desktop or UNBC VPN.
