Sanitizing your desk phone can be done in a manner which is safe for the phone and the people who use it
Sanitizing phones has become part of our routine, especially where phones are available to the public, or where phones are being shared.
- It is recommended that wiping the phone with a dampened cloth or sanitizing cloth is the best approach.
- It is important to not have the cloth so moist that the moisture penetrates behind the buttons.
Please be aware that:
- Spraying a sanitizing solution directly onto the phones OR spraying any liquid directly onto the phone will damage it severely. In most cases, the phone will need to be replaced.
- Replacing damaged phones is costly, by following the recommendations, we can avoid unnecessary hardware replacement and labour costs.
If more information is required, please use the Phone & Voice Service Category to place a ticket.
